I hope you all have had a healthy and productive winter. Fortunately for us in the Miami Valley we had a mild winter up to this point. I realize spring equinox isn’t for a couple of weeks yet, but warmer temperatures have blessed us the past week. Mother Nature has given us some days over 60 degrees! I am looking forward to planting some new plants this spring. I am working on getting my yard to be a pseudo show room. I’ve been enjoining going through plant catalogs, such as Spring Hill and Brecks.
I am fighting to get through this MS attack. The past week was very difficult. Not only am I having problems with energy level but balance and concentration as well. Getting through each day is a struggle. Last weekend was Nu2UV2’s 4 year anniversary of being in business. A big CONGRATULATION to owner Doreen! They had a great turn out and I was able to attend for a short time.
I am working on fun specials for April and May. Doreen and I have discussed an in-store mushroom hunt since wild mushroom season is around the corner here. April showers bring May flowers so we will be offering flowers buy 2 get the 3rd free. That will help add some color and one of a kind art to your yard. Mother’s day is also in May so one can be given to Mom as a unique gift. We are also discussing an event to coincide with Miamisburg’s Spring Fest. Details to follow.
I have been working on some new pieces, however,, at a slow pace. I am focusing on owls, but they are proving to be challenging. Our aim is to have them available by June.
